Benevolent means marked by or disposed to doing good. Each year our church approves a budget to meet the ministry needs of the church. This budget does not include the occasional financial help for hardship that many of us have faced at times in life. If you feel led to give, over and above your regular giving, to do good to those in our community, you can. Just write Benevolent on the memo line on your checks or designate that on an envelope with cash. Usually we take up a collection specifically designated to Benevolent Giving on the first Sunday of the month, but you can contribute to the Benevolent Fund at any time. Thank you for all your support.
